SPARKLING WINE STOPPER
In the late 17th century the creative monk Don Pierre P�rignon tried sealing the bottles at his abbey in Champagne with bits of cork. The result: an excellent preservation of wines and a perfect retention of carbon dioxide. And so the way was clear for the industrialisation of cork stoppers which are still a symbol of excellence today.
